I had a Viper system installed in my FTO... Great system, easy to use and adjust yourself if necessary and relatively well priced... I paid $750.00 fully installed... Remote central locking, full car touch protection, stage III immobiliser and the key fob is also a pager... Your alarm goes off and you know about it straight away! And when it goes off  She's a banshee!!!

I guess it mean you can have either have the microware/ultrasonic & the shock sensor set to super sensitive level.

So there for you be running up & down all day because it will constantly page you, due to the fact it will pick up any tiny micro rumble from other car's exhaust.

Exactly FTO338... I have turned down the sensitivity due to it going off every 5 minutes! It's all good now... Before the alarm goes off it gives off a warning tone... 3 very loud beeps... If the car is touched again within a 5 minutes period the alarm will sound... If it isn't touched within that 5 minute period the system resets & will again give the warning tone if disturbed...
I've just purchased one of the Ride Tones units from Tubular Suspension Systems... Can't wait to have it wired in... Should sound awesome!
Apart from the alarm being overly sensitive at first I can't fault the Viper system... I easliy adjusted the sensitivity level myself & now it's gold!
