I've used Nihon for a few services and whilst it was cheap, I wasn't overly impressed.
I'm now using Drift King at Geebung. They have an FTO mechanic there and whilst it's a bit more expensive, my car is driving so much better now.

Dan,

I got Jo and Riks to do mine as they sourced me a second hand heater core super cheap from one of their wrecks.

Only problem was that they fitted it at their normal leisurely pace. :-)

Was about $500 all up including core from memory (well, it was a while ago)........they did it the hard way by pulling out the dash and releasing the aircon gases etc etc.

BTW what do you know about clutch slave cylinders? getting mine replaced on Friday, seems to be another "common" FTO fault.

Cheers

Hahahaha.............Sorry forgot you had a Tip. :-)

BTW Let me know if you find someone who can make up good quality Heater Cores for the FTO. I reckon it would pay to have a spare on hand for when things start getting damp and misty.

I am confused about a great many things but at least I'm clear on why you're changing the belt again.
