FINAL CALL FOR AUTOSALON APRIL 29TH AND 30TH 2006

Post by sxcfto »

OK after much confusion of who is going in and who isnt going in can we please just have this thread for those who are definitely putting their car into Austosalon on the 29th and 30th of April.

You will need to pay your money direct to Autosalon either online or via phone or through a post office by sending a money order.

THIS SHOULD BE DONE NO LATER THAN 14TH OF APRIL 2006.

You will stipulate on your entry form under Vehicle Details that you are going in as a club FTO AUSTRALIA.

I will need 6 definite cars by the 10th of April so that we can meet on 12th of April to arrange and organise our club display and what will need to be done!

If anyone is unsure of their cars or really does not want to enter and have thought about it then thats ok but we need to have DEFINITE NUMBERS.

Remember your car will not be looked at under a microscope when you have it in as a club it is the club display overall that people will take into consideration.....

Also remembering that this is a good opportunity to get FTO AUSTRALIA known to the public and is worth the effort for the advertsising of the club !

Cost involved is $100 per car entry as most of you are aware of now.
And some hard work to get the display up if we all contribute I know we can do well!

Signing off for now Toni

On the online form, it is asking for arrival time. Do we catch up first then get up there all together? what time?
Do we leave our cars there over night for the second day?
Do we need extra car space?
Do we need power point? If yes what type?
Do we need additional crew?

MXYSXY you only need to fill in the basic requirements on the form all the other stuff will be organised later .......

we need to just concentrate on getting our 6 cars and getting the spots paid for to be able to enter all the other requirements will be organised at the pre meeting prior to autosalon weekend.

Well Guys and Gals.......:(

This is looking very sad again this year for an FTO Club stand at Autosalon .... what happened to the people who wanted to show with the club ????

So far we have only had 2 entrants pay for their spot at Autosalon which leaves 4 spaces we need to fill by Friday......

At this stage unless by some miracle Im afraid to say there won't be an FTO AUSTRALIA club stand at this Autosalon ......

Well time has come ........... it's now the 14th of April deadline to have all car club entrants in for Autosalon....
UNFORTUNATELY we did not make the 6 cars needed to be a club entrant for Autosalon this year so FTO club will not have a display.

Maybe next time .....

I still want to go to AutoSalon to show my ride,
but dont know what to expect....

Lanyon/Toni, are you still going as well?

I though I need some crew,
My girlfriend agreed to come to Autosalon with me, stand up around my car all day, wear black high heal boots, tight jeans, and white tshirt.
She hasnt agreed not to wear a bra, but I am working on it.
Also, she agreed that I will iron print FTO logo on to the white tshirt
I love her so much!

Any other idea for me guys?

I have just received an invitation from AutoSalon, asking to join to the show in Melbourne,
Nov 4th-5th
Do we have enough interest this time to join as a club?

I know the theme as well this time;
We might get nikki to display herself on my car with tennis skirt, seeing that you boys impressed with her
And the boys can hold rackets, wearing shorts, and reminding Agassi, etc...
Of course, we need a father figure there as acting coach

What do you think?

says with a tired, slow voice

"I suppose you can put me down on the list, if only to keep you young ones out of trouble"

Thats a yes! if others will committ to it. my car is bog standard but I like it.
