Ah ok sweet, I can afford these easily, so money is not an issue :D
Just to confirm, I have a GR so the IRIDIUM plugs are the right ones?

arh u have a GR! then its your lucky day cos the GR can use the XI series plus, still IRIDIUM but more common and hence cheaper. They will be 99 delivered. I wont do it as a GB but order for u at the same time.

For everyone else confirm u have a GPX! or MIVEC engine cos these plugs are only suitable for the MIVEC..if u have a GR we can do as the above.

Here are the current price breaks:

1-4 are $26.00 per plug or $156.00 per set + p&h = $162.80
5-9 are $23.40 per plug or $140.40 per set + p&h = $147.20
10-14 are $22.23 per plug or $133.38 per set + p&h = $140.18
15+ are the prices quoted above : $126.71 + p&h = $133.51

We are in bracket 2 atm...2 more an we get it to the next one.

p&H will be $6.80 to anywhere in Australia. However for Melb. members we can have pickup and divide the p&h. Might save u an extra 5 bucks.

Been driving with them today and they a sure running nice. Has smoothed out the performance .

Keep to going and get to 15!!!

for those stressing about the plugs only lasting 20,000k -- you really should get your plugs replaced with each major service. so if you can save yourself a few bob on that expense then why not, ey ;)

20,000 km is still quite a lot of kms...But in reality i'm a little confused with why NGK specified this number anyway becuase in their same FAQ's etc about IRIDIUM plugs they say they last a lot longer than that. I replace mine every 15-20 anyway cos thats about a year of driving for me.

Common misconception - you do not need to replace coil packs when upgrading leads.

Leads available from www.magnecor.com.au

I can ask about the leads. I had custom ones made for mine when mine were faulty - simply cos it was gonna take a while for me to get the entire leads with the right ends....

Keep an eye on this as I will talk to Kudos today and see what they can do and prices.

If I'm correct these plugs have a 0.8 gap rather than the 1.1/1.0 gap with the stds so the spark requirement is less anyway....correct me if i'm wrong.

But with a feeler gauge & light taps you can adjust the gap to whatever you like

Im currently running Nippon Denso Iridiums with a 0.4mm gap & they are absolutely brilliant!

Forgive my ignoramusness....

so what would be the option with the gap...leave as .8?

Open to 1.0 or .4 as per Bennoz....

i prefer plug and play....Boom Tish!!!

leave them as they are i would say
NGK and denso both state that their plugs come gapped to suit most cars....

The denso's i just ordered(IK22's, same as Bennoz i would imagine) come with 0.4mm gap preset....
