Wiring

Post by demonic_hordes »

Hi, I was wondering if anyone had a diagram of what the wiring of the woofers to tweeters in the fto were like.
when you open up the stock tweeter locations, there are wires for the tweeters. I was wondering how the connected to the woofer/hu. So a diagram that shows this would be awesome! thanks

They are connected in parrallel to the woofer, ie. the wire going to the woofer, and the wire going to the tweeter cary the exact same thing.

For instance, in the passenger door my crossover is ductaped to the bottom of the door ina plastic bag :P This one is inputted from the woofer wire. On the drivers side however my crossover is ductaped to the plastic shroud below the steering wheel and gets it input from the tweeter wiring.

It works that way? you only need to connect the crossover to one of the two? (woofer or tweeter?) you don't you have to link them?

did the mitsus leave any capacitors in the wirings?
