havent entered any sound offs yet as sound quality is more important to me than volume, hence why i bought infinity speakers their not cheap but by far (to my ears) the best sounding car speakers. Cant drive the car at the moment as iam completely rebuilding it ie: dressup engine bay redo interior brakes etc.

Oh, by any chance do you know where to get manuals for these head decks? I got one in my fto when I bought it. Would like to have relevant docs.

I got all my instruction manuals with the car (lucky me). Not sure where you can get them from because most people haven't even heard of carrozzeria in Australia.

Yeh, I've looked everywhere. I showed a couple of friends and they said they had never heard of it either.

ahahaha, you dodgy bastard you... It's just a different name, man... it's not like they're the 'Lexus' of head decks or anything like that, LMAO...

i guess that's another good thing - you can crap on about anything that they don't know about and it'll still sound good..!! ;)

I agree, my carrozzeria head unit has so many functions features and fiddley bits I dont know what half of them do. That is why I wanted the manual for it.

Hey GPXXX
I gotta ask you, where did you put your amp, as i have the Q4000 also. I'll prob put it on the back of the rear seats. Have you noticed how soft the wall of the rear seats are. I had to bolt a 6mm mdf board which stiffens it up a bit. I'm also gonna put a small shield of perspex in front of the amp to stop things hitting it as i put computers and tool boxes in the back which could hit the amp when i get the car sideways.
Have you got your sub screwed down or velcro'd. I'm gonna have to screw it down with some brackets

my amp is now mounted where the space-saver tyre once was... i actually bolted it onto the metal bootfloor so it's sturdy and stable (and safe coz the fuel tank is not underneath the boot).

i might eventually relocate it to a custom boot floor (which is halfway there already since i'm making one) so when it's ready it'll show yas some pics. for now, it's fine where it is... (no problems with access to and fro as well as ventilation either).
