jono - yeah I know the stereo type was bad, i think the bottom line is that i'm jealous lol.

chelly - yeah it was aimed at you. what you going to do about it? :P jk

Um... as for the roads, mt nebo? that's if your car isnt too low and you have decent breaks (had a mate cook his breaks up there).

or there's that mt near the gold coast damn (i cant remember the name)

and i think we should all stop off at a pub on the way back. I love picking on youngens.

heheheh

there are quite a few FTOs around my area actually, go figure - FTOs in Sunnybank. but the problem is that the owners are generally the Asian students with rich daddies that bought them the car and pays for the mods (as long as the kids say "this will make my car safer" instead of faster) type, not very socialble... at least I dont think so.
How do you know there dad's bought them for them...They might have, but unless u know i wouldn't go saying that about them.

I hate it when people say that. I had my FTO when i was in school too and got it fully kitted while i was there too and i hate it when people go on about rich parents buying me the car. I spent 2 freaken years at the damn chicken factory(KFC) slavin away, workin every extra shift i could get, aswell as lettuce farming during school holidays and savin every cent to buy my car and another 1 year to get the kit for it.

 then people blow it off as 'his dady's car' or 'rich parents'

anyway atleast everyone that knew me knew i had worked for it. I i am proud to own such an awesome car.

Just venting...sorry

actually that's a pretty slack comment, shouldnt be so racist. It's not like they cost a fortune to buy, pretty cheap now compared to a lot of other cars.
It's like I can say.. a lot of rich non asians get their cars cos their rich ass parents buy them a ford or a holden, and u wouldnt be too happy about that comment either :?

anyway, please dont be so quick to judge people, just givin my 2 cents :)

and btw, abt my post above, im not really 50 yrs old was jk :P

mm i dont think so, well late 20s to early thirties is the majority i think.

cos u have 2 remember that a couple of yrs ago ftos were 20k+ and before that like 30k+ so only older people with proper jobs could afford them before, whereas now the price is dropped heaps (so young shyts like us can buy one  )

ok ok, i retract my comments about rich daddies, it could be rich mommies. lol jk

its just that I know a quite a few ppl (about 80% of them would be international students) that's had daddy buy their car.

kinda annoying when they drive around in brand spanking new RX8s, 350Zs and BMWs acting like they're top sh!t, and all they had to do was go to school for 2hrs a day, while their parents are working to pay their rent and uni fees etc.

mean while, little old me had to do 120hr weeks selling $4000 vaccum cleaners (it takes a lot to walk into a random's house and make them spend $4000 on a vaccum in 2hrs.. yes yes i was a door to door sales man, please dont think less of me)

anyways, i'll stop b!tching now.

maybe we should run a poll to figure that one out. :P

I had my car when I was 18 and I know all the people who weren't my close friends thought my parents bought it for me. I soon shut them up though :)
