However can I get a set with 4300K globes.

I was just thinking the same stuff while reading these posts. So what would be a good temperature to get for the FTO? I'm interested in the 8000K blue ones, but would this be a bad decision?

i think 6000k is the balance between brightness and whiteness, while if you get 8000k, the light is cooler and more bluish but the level of brightness will be much reduced...

if you get the 4300k ones, it will be much brighter...

6000k will be the best choice, you will have more problems with a noicsy exhust than HID as long as you don’t go over bored like 12000k whitch is purple. I got 6000k on my car and I have driven be hide cops, in front and next to them and nothing is said…

So 6000k (white) should be no problems….

I've got a 6000k Jap HID and don't have a problem what so ever with cops. You just have to make sure you adjust the beaming angle after the installation.

Heres a chart i've post up few times, it should make things clear for those whos new to HID.

Can whoever is running this GB please PM me. I need to know a few things before we 'bless it' to go ahead - purely to ensure it doesnt go pear shaped.

Also looking at getting a set myself once I have details.

Cheers,
Ben
