 wouldnt be able to get grand final weekend off we are too busy that weekend anyone in hospitality would struggle to get that off i would think ????

Considering this is going to be a $500 or so p.p weekend we would want to make sure we get good weather and a suitable weekend for the event ?

We could Hire a house boat depending on the amount of people we would get together for the weekend if we can get 12 it would be $200 p.p for the enitre weekend on the houseboat

see link below

http://www.murrayriver.com.au/houseboat ... efault.htm

Every thing we need would be on the houseboat !

Just bring food and drinks.....

Dude I don't think that thread in the General section is working very well. You should try and get someone to make it a 'Sticky' thread.

I had a chat with someone about this houseboat thingy, and they told me, there is a hidden charge of "petrol/fuel" tax, which end up costing them more then the boat hire itself.

So I think we need to make sure we know all the hidden charges or we up for a real nasty suprise. They murray river is also have the lowest water level in 100yrs at the moment, which is not a good sign either.

your dinners don't get posted in the forums until
AFTER they've taken place...
...so it's kinda hard for us to attend

you want people to turn up... invite us

Like I said guys I do apologise for not everyone getting invited to dinner coz they're usually a spontaneous thing......eg. I call khungeng coz we both work in the city and end up having dinner and members who live close by rock up as well.

If you would like to be invited to my FTO sms list then feel free to PM me your mobile number so next time we do something spontaneous then you'll get the sms.

And Gav your number is on my phone now.

Hopefully we can get some more DIY days happening but once again they're a spontaneous thing as well and we all usually work on our own sh*t and not all on the same thing. It's more the company than anything!

BTW welcome to the club Kellie! Hahaha beat you to welcome a newbie Kev! :P

As it stands there is not enough for paintball.
