You can add a hdd via the USB ports at the front however these ports are only USB1.1 which is no good for video. You can run games from the hdd but this is even slower than running then from disc which with some games on the PS2 is already a bit of a wait.

Xbox is definately the preferred console choice for car installation. It's a bigger unit but hidden in the boot somewhere is usually the preferred option anyway.

PC setup I would do if had time and more money.

I chose xbox though, just for low cost if you can pick one up second hand.


Although if you wanted TV and more features have to go PC
