Name that wire...

Was looking under the driver's seat yesterday and noticed that there is a wire with a white connector plug on the end of it poking out of a little cut out in the carpet.

Does anyone know what this is for or where it's supposed to be connected too?

Yes,

This wire connects up to the seatbelt warning buzzer. When you have the car running and your seatbelt is not buckled up, a warning beep will sound.

I think everybody in this forum will find that it is disconnected in their car also.
