Hello,

Well, with the variety of people wanting to get an EL-gauge for an FTO I don't know what they are going to say..

Let me count up who ever said "count me in" and I will give them a call tomorrow and see what they have to say..

But I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Also, I left this for a while as I believe Stephen had some thing coming...
So...

Let me update you guys as soon as I find out some thing..

From my understanding and long long hrs browsing on the net on car styling/performance sites, I disagree in saying that these are the EL gauges. There are 2 types. There is one EL style and the other Reverse EL. The one I have seen for FTO’s is the EL type which is called Indiglo.

Here is the difference.

EL type

Reverse EL type

Also if you need a substantial number to get these produced, I suggest joining with the UK owners will help. I will make my best to get ppl from my country (Malta). Also to who ever is reading this who has a business selling gadgets and items for FTO can order more leaving them for sale to whoever didn’t see this offer or hasn’t the cash at hand. Am sure that FTO owners are increasing as we speak. Few months ago there was such offer for the Lexus type rear lights and that feedback for these was a hit. But unfortunately this was never accomplished.

If they are the REVERSE EL type. Count me in.
I suggest the blue colour is the nicest(Like above pics and VW Golf Mk4)

No reverse EL yet. But if you decide in getting them custom made, I would suggest going for the reverse

The ones there are are not reversed and look like this

If I'm not mistaken the ones above are from KMC and have been discontinued.

There is however a place in SA that can custom make them, but they need a template first. As standard they would only do the dash dials, but if asked they could also do the clock and volt meter too. I'm fairly certain they can do reverse EL as well.

ok now that i'm registered.

I have been unable to communicate with stephen recently but i need a figure before end of this month if possible.

I am in the process of designing fto reverse indi dials similar to these
Image

I propose to do manual, 4 and 5 spd and 180kmph. This will include the usual center dials and clock and voltage. There will be no special one off designs, sorry Sam,.
Please go through Stephen to purchase this unless he cannot be contacted. I will only be making very limited versions of this so its first come first basis, sorry. This is due to the small interest shown.

Can we have show of hands from this point onwards, i think all questions has already been pointed out here.

thanks
