EL Guage - Express of interest also wanted!!

Post by fto12345 »

Hey all,

I have just been talking with Autojoy and they said this.

"If you get 40 buyers, we'll make it $120. If you get more than 40 buyers, we'll make it $100 for the EL guages".

Now, I don't know if there are 40 FTOs out there that doesn't have an EL guage in their car but can we have a show of hands as to how many of you guys are serious about getting one?

Thanks,

$120??!! that's bloody cheaaap!!

now i feel so ripped off....

also note, if you get color-adjustable EL dials (like mine) and set it to light blue, over time it will turn to green as it heats up... strange!

They're talking about your car dash gauges (ie speedo, tacho etc) that are white with adjustable colour shades for the dial face themselves.

Maybe someone with it fitted can show you a pic.

Here's a general idea of how it looks (from an Eclipse):

Hang on dudes,

it seems that smorison is having a discussion with KMC products UK to custom produce some EL dials for the OZ market.

details might be up shortly.
