upto you if you pay full amount or deposit only, i'm pretty relaxed on there.

CC/DD won't matter i prefer DD as i can track who's paid better. if we can get enough interest it'll be a special offer through the FTO Shop.

Very much appreciate the organisation of this by Smorison n KMC!

I am sure there are pple with diff gearboxes. Hence there will be a need to specify which ones they require.(Manual, 4speed Tip, 5speed Tip.)

Will we be asked on our opinions of the specs of this group buy before the production begins?(Maybe colors avail, extension of current 180kmh dial slightly downwards to make it 200kmh?)

Hey,

Just a simple question...

All I am after is some interest in getting some EL gauges with some great offers for people..
I really don't mean to be rude or anything, but just because smorison gets a deal from some one doesn't neccessarily mean is the best deal you can get..
I mean I do very very much appreciate the efforts he is putting into this site..after all without smorison, I don't think none of this will exist..But I thought this site is all about getting the best offers for those in this forum....not like other forums where they try and get what ever is good for them selves..I thought this forum is all about helping each other???
I don't know if this will go to production, as I said they will need 40 people or so probably to get it done...but I have been talking with autojoy for some time now and they have always been thinking of making these gauges...and they do have good gauges...And I got this offer and am just asking for some interests...
That's all...I don't want to compete with any one here....it's not like I'm making any money out of this or anything...I just want to get things at a good price, that's all....
Hope this clarifies few things..

Cheers,

i don't disagree with you, however getting 40 people to buy will be an long and very hard process. getting 20 people to buy will probably be difficult enough as we are only a small group (when you count how many are actually active)

Hello smorison,

Yes I totally agree with you there...

All I'm trying to do is trying to get some kind of indication as to how many people might want them as I was in a thread a while back when people were trying to get these gauges....so just trying to get a good price for my self as well as others I guess...

And I am sorry once again if you thought I was being a bit rude and really didn't mean to be and I really do appreciate the efforts you are putting into this site, and yes I do try and get certain things if I can from you instead of any where else...

So please don't take me wrong... I really don't mean any harm to any one at all..

Cheers,

Sorry to be picky guys but calling them EL gauges kinda makes it misleading. Only thing that could be considered as EL gauges are the gauges that Apexi make. That what I thought when I clicked on this thread.

I don't know what term should be used but I always thought that the were called indiglo dials *shrugs*

Hi guys,

It's called EL guages because it stands for "Electro-Luminous guages".

Apexi does make them but these dials where the entire face glows are all called EL guages.

It's named this because there are a tiny particles in the dials and when electricity is applied, they glow to different colours.
Hence, electro-luminous.

Sorry for the confusion.
Hope this clears few things.

I think another good indication is the fact that most EL dials I've come across have adjustable colour hues/shades.

What about 5speed Tips?

Post by wildfaye »

Smorison,

read the main page post on the indiglo dials.
there was no mention of 5speed tips.
would there be any of them at all?
