Camping at Mambray Creek

Just throwing this thought out there...

The Plan : Cruise up Saturday, set up camp, Drink some quiet ales / wines around the campfire, cruise back Sunday

Can I get an idea of numbers who would be interested ? and when is a good time ?

Things to think about... No campfires in the NP after 31 October.

Possible joint club event with MGEC ???

Mambray Creek camp ground has a group area we can book if we get enough interest. Park entrance fee is about $7 per car, and camping is either $8 or $12 a night per car (cant remember which) And if you want to know what facilities are there...

Camping
Vehicle based camping is provided at Mambray Creek campground. There are fifty-three level unpowered sites, flushing toilets, solar heated showers, water supply, firewood supply (in season), rubbish disposal and communal fireplaces. Facilities provided are suitable for disabled access.

Two group camping areas located adjacent to the main campground are also available. These are ideal for school, community and large family groups, with a capacity of 60 people in Redgums Group Campsite and 40 in Native Pines Group Campsite. Each group camping area consists of communal areas, with running water, kitchen site with table and a fire pit surrounded by benches. Tent sites radiate from these central areas. The group sites share an amenities block.

Sounds like a good idea to me. Have not been camping in SA yet. Always keen.

I love the word "superfluous".

Which is doubly great when you think about the fact that it is a much more complicated and unnecessary way of saying "unnecessary" or "not needed".

So it is a word, that by it's own existance, creates the need for the word.

Also, this post, superfluous.

Well, certainly more than half the ones that we post!

But yes Ben, the word, is itself, quite superfluous.

But it is a good word all the same. Should be word of the week. Try and use it every day with a different person.

And see how many of them dont talk to you again.
