Thanx for a great day again Shaun. Always great to catch up with you all.

Great weather, Great company, Great twisty roads, and Great food. What more could you ask for 8)

Here's my photo attempts... Nothing too flash, but then I never claimed to be much of a photographer. Some of them werent worth posting, and these are all resized for the forum

First at the Winery...

Image

And I quite like the top down look...

Tried some action shots. Lee took these, while trying to hold on for her life thru the twists, so pretty good considering. Had to trim a fair bit because of reflections thru the windscreen...

And a people group shot at Barossa Resevoir...

And the cars...

Just wanted to say again, the new rims look awesome Travis. :D

You some it up pretty well Steve. Thanks again Shaun for organising this, that was a great drive. Can't wait for the next one. I'll never get tired of seeing the look on peoples faces when 4 FTO's drive past them. :D
Nice Gorge Rd run to finish the day too (8)), all except for that putz in the Mazda 121. Who takes a Bubble Mobile out on Gorge Rd? That's right, the type that WILL NOT DRIVE FASTER THAN 50 K/H!

Anyway, my pics. Couple were similar to yours Steve so I left them out.

Winery pics:
Jealous of those headlights... Still can't believe you beat me to doing them.

Most creative way to cover the rubbish bin wins!

BTW, those action shots came out well. Bit of a reflection, but i love the wide widescreen effect :D

Some awesome shots there. :D

The reflections are actually pretty bad, although only onthe photo's. When you're driving you hardly see them. Its hard to describe to Lee how to take the shots to reduce the reflections when your concentrating on driving LOL

To give you an idea of what the pre-trimmed pic looks like...

Image

And I noticed this shot a little later, and realised how close to the verge I was on this corner... I think my co-driver forgot the "dont cut" call... 8O

Will supply a disc with lots of goodies at the next get together. If you are nice to me of course....

So not much chance of Steve getting one

I dont have a problem with that... After all, if we werent meant to visit wineries on car cruises, God wouldnt have built them so close to the roads...

Nice.... ummm.... stripe on your car Shaun... :? (See, I can be nice too)

But seriously, those photo's turned out awesome. I see a new Avatar coming... :P

EDIT: New Avatar up :D

LOL!!! Great point.

We are just appreciative of the finer things in life. Like wine, winding roads, green hills....

And FTO's. :D

And there are heaps more pics (obviously - you saw all the ones I took) - but these were the most interesting.

Thanks for the great day guys! Sorry I couldn't stick around, unfortunatley work tends to take up so much of my time recently. The pictures were great to see and I wish I could have stayed longer. I'm away for christmas and new years, I'll be on the gold coast getting hammered. Take care and i'll see you in the new year. Be safe and enjoy the road.
