Unique CAI Intake Pipe

Post by ellusion »

Since you will be selling these kits soon, i was wondering if i could purchase just the rubber intake pipe.
The reason for this is because my insurance does not allow me to install a pod filter.

I would like to install the pipe to my GR MAS sensor and then to the stock airbox with the K&N panel filter. This should give me some performance gains.

Hi,

Can you have some finished product pics please?

I guess I want to know what the big difference is.

I also have a pod filer on mine, but if the pipe is pretty much the same as the factory one then why change it?

And would you be able to break up the prices as well please?
Heat shield, pipe, pod filter etc..
Unless they don't get sold separately.

Thank you,

I'm with HBF.
They say they have had too many imports under them and were getting more strict.

I cannot have engine mods etc or they will NOT insure me at all...
Therefore, piping, panel filters etc will just be "replacements" in my engine bay, not "mods" :)

yeah as soon as the first one turns up i'll post pictures of htem side by side...

what's the biggest difference? well in a nutshell we've removed 2 large restrictions from the OEM pipe, it's made to look like OEM so that it doesn't attract too much attention. the other big difference from other intake mods is this is rubber/plastic so it doesnt' transmit heat like metal does helping to keep your air cooler for longer.

the dyno results will show you everything (check out the prototype ones if your interested)
