Oooo that looks pretty good, iv'e been looking at some decent cams for my car recently and that looks like exactly what im looking for. One on the passenger side windscreen and one to tuck away behind the front bar on the far right hand side poking through where the fog light would usually be for a down close and personal cam

Sure, if you want your videos to look like they've been filmed in a fish bowl

Just slightly and thats the norm. But it just catches so much more views at both sides, which makes sense if you are capturing in-car footage. But do give us your reviews and videos about the contour.

You also lose the sensation of speed with some of those wider angle cameras.

Yeah they're back up to full price now though. Keep an eye on it though, looks like they still have stock so they may discount it again to clear them out.

i've been tossing between Go Pro, contour and drift. Each has its merits!
But im leaning towards the contour thou. looks like its being designed by SWAT!

Just chuck it in the street car and go for a run around the block. That would give you a ruff idea of how it looks.

I'm not concerned about the video, just do a youtube search, I'm more interested in the sound. I want a camera that not only shows the visual side of it but also records the sound much better. To me that's the big thing missing from so much in car footage. I'm a car nut, sound is everything

it's on the cards.

ops...from memory, it has a built in mic but dotn have jack for external mic.

Few guys from RX8club.com.au have one and said the sound quality isn't the best
