hey does anyone know the location of the beeper that beeps wenever you have the door open and the key in the ignition??

its really starting to piss me off when ever im workin on the car and have the door open! :twisted:

I would be very happy if someone told be where abouts this beeper is located in the car! i would be forever grateful!

Ahh yes, I have been down this road :D Its actually a snap on electrical board 'pack' so to speak. It sits just behind the fuse box in the footwell, you just need to undo the 10mm nut that holds the fuse box down, then reach around it & unclip the plastic box on the back it it - & bingo, no more noise! :D Keep in mind it also has the 'beep when lights left on' and beep when in reverse' (tip only) diodes on it. If you want to get technical I can dig up a pic of which diode to cut if you like....

Alternatively you can just remove the whole circuit like I did.

snip it and hook it up to a switch! so u can turn it off when your working on the car!

This must have been altered on mine before I got it, because the only noise I get is when the doors are open and the lights are on.

Ok here is the pic of the board:

The highlighted one is actually the reverse diode, I cant recall if it was the first one or the third one that was for the lights... best get the soldering iron out & test!

yea mine is exactly the same.. altho yesterday my lights dont go on when i open the door and the beeping sound doesnt come on if i leave my lights on open the door with the ignition off :?
