guy's i'll be happy if 15-20 cars came to an FTO Meet up. :D

5 or less you are really wasting your time unless you join the evos and so on...

hopefully my wollongong cruise gets allowed and approved and hopefully we can gather about 10-15 cars hopefully for next year. :D

Otherwise thats an excellent turn out. :D

5 or less is wast of time? Isn't that like saying, if you don't go out with more then 5 of your mates, then its a waste of time.

Have you ever been to a cruise before? The first FTO cruise i've been to with Vic members was just 3 of us and thats 5yrs ago, the largest was around 23 members.

I enjoyed both cruises and more cars don't always mean better, as you will have to wait for those who are always slow (60 in 80km zone) or those who got left behind the lights.

Mate, do you know how many FTO's there are in Aus?? Basically we are lucky to get 5 cars at a meet, but we have fun... If you are expecting 15-20 cars at YOUR Wollongong Cruise, buy an Evo and join their club!!! And no it isnt a waste of our time to cruise with 5 cars!

damn man u really know what NOT to say lol..

u no smaller cruises are better, that way u dont have to worry so much about people not keeping up and we can all go the same pace.
yea it would be good if we had 10-15, only cos it'll look good as a photo shoot, but seriously.. it's all about the thrill of the drive and really learning how to drive your car and just let it be driven for what it made for.
quality over quantity bro

EDIT: Btw, I can understand why you assumed 10-15 cars, cos that seems like an average turnout since u've never been to a cruise, my first cruise I thought it would be like 10 cars, i jsut assumed since i had never been to one before, but once we got going, its all about the driving and i really was glad we didnt have 10 since it made it so much easier for people to stick close and everybody to get the driving experience with each other.

Ben, maybe you can use The Karate Kid style, "Wax on, Wax off" "now go and polish all the FTO that turn up to the cruise"

We had 40ish turn up to one Christmas do (back in 2003 from memory) then 26 of those went for the "City Cruise" - you have no idea how hard it is to keep 26 cars together for a cruise through the city.....even with 2 ways and group leaders...

Had a heap at the VIC/NSW get together as well

5- 10 is a nice easy number for long cruises - allows you to set a nice "running" order

Hopefully now that we've finished comps for the year we may be able to bring our 2 to the next cruise - thinking the pub at Wollombi would be nice Ben? Kaz?

dont be so worried, it would be great to go on an FTO cruise with 10-15 people..however you just can't get people to turn up...

sure small cruises are ok...but to make it fun and more like a "crusie" and not a drive with your mates 5-10 cars would be great...15 would eb awsome
