Very Unlucky. I was giong to say i know guys who transfered their liscence to qld before they paid the fine... then paid it then a couple of months later went back to nsw. know of several instances. And be carefull when not paying fines. They can double the fine and increase the suspension period for failure to pay. i know cause it happened to me.
wish i hadve seen this thread earlier. i have much experience on losing liscence. 3 times so far and on good driving behaviour at the moment.

Good luck with it though. not much you can do now, except cop it.

well if it makes you feel any beter, i got my licence taken away for 6 months and well, i "didnt know" (yeah right) well i kept driving for the 6 months, and then on my final day of my licence being suspended, i was driving to work, i had my licence papers in my bag because i was goin to leav work early to go to motor reg and get all that sorted out, i was about 5, if that minutes away from my work at a red light intersection. right on the other side was a copcar... i noticed that they kept looking at me, and they looked down at their screen.. and when i turned right, they followed me and turned their lights on and yes... i was pulled over on the LAST day!!! can you believe it??!!
i showed them all the paper work, etc etc and the guy was a real idiot, and the girl was much friendlier.. i got a 370 dollar fine, and i cudnt drive. but luckily i was told that if i was driven to the motor reg i could get my licence that day...

well thats my story..
