Guys, I headed to the 'plex last night for a run.

Bolted some M/T's to the back of my F6 Tornado.

11.87 @ 115mph.
1.80 60'

Quickest F6 in the country
Quickest Manul F6 or 'T' in the country

Mods-

968 injectors
4" Dump & Cat
Centre Muffler removal
8psi actuator
edit tuned by XTC engine management ( the wog ) = 313rwkw

$2500.00
and whats the base price?

1000cc injectors..roughly 700
dump and cat, cat 400 for an ok one...dunp 200-300
new actuator for 8psi...dunno few hundred
ecu remap...prob around 300.

plus labout...looks about right.

Fantastic result...those F6s go hard...would blow my 12.2@113MPH away...but then again mine is 25k and whats yours? :P

take of the cat, you will see sh*t loads of more accorss the whole range...I gained about 20kw everywhere with it de-cat'd.

what tyres ar eu running? stock suspension?
50k RRP i think. But an FTO brand new is over 60k????

The Typhoon is not mine, it was used for an example.

Papaya is that you?? Or are you just using that as an example. I remember reading that post on another forum...they are tough cars..
Nah used as example.

The Toranado is heavier than the sedan as well.

I can quote numerous examples of this car being modded to good numbers. Might not be the "fastest" but they are all pretty fast.

I can quote several cars of different makes that do low 12s, 11s and 10s. I'm only intrested in wanking on about my own one...cos i know how hard it is to get good times even if u have big power...

yeahh thats true man. . it can very hard to get a good run even with big power especally whe you car is capable of doing it.

But i mean I reakon a Good Run and plus i got LSD. I cold get a Low 15. .

Ive had people say i can get quicker if it was worked up just abit.

But a Low 15 is very good for a Stock Fto.

Umm Wednesday is the only night that WSID is open to the public unless you're booked into a private hire day or event. Might want to keep that in mind :)

Low 15 from a manual though, the auto box will slow you down a bit i'd imagine. Looking at the list, all the GPvR's that did low 15s are manuals.

Do we get a prize if we guess the correct time for Bennoz ? :P

...
I was simply guessing what times someone else might achieve... just a bit of fun gee. I don't have much interest in doing a q'mile myself. Take a chill pill.
