Immobiliser died...

Post by watsupshell »

just wondering what u guys think of this.? Friday my central locking just wouldn't work all of a sudden. I couldn't start my car because of the immobiliser. After freaking out for a few minutes (sorry sam) I got an auto electrician to come. He told me I needed a new immobiliser and that he had to cut out a heap of wires so that I can start my car again. So only cost me $50 which I thought was pretty good. But I'm just hoping what he said was right? and also if anyone can give me some advice on where to buy, what brand and who's best to fit an immobiliser? I so hate having to use the key! Thanks.
