Seat cushions

Post by sublime19 »

My driver's side seat's cushions are like.. dieing. WHen i sit, my right hand side has the metal bit almost poking into my leg, when i touch it, there's just the seat cover and the metal bit, no cushion in between at all..

Luckily I still havn't put on the covers I bought from Max's group buy, so is there anyway I can replace the cushions while changing seat covers?

Upholsterer

Post by dstocks »

An Upholsterer should be able to sort you out. Short of buying replacement seats, that is your only real option (unless you intend to have a shot at it yourself that is)

    Yeah.
I'd reccomend upholsterer. They should do a smicko job. And doing it yourself could be interesting.

ah nice, uplhosterer, is there special ones for cars (this might sound like a stupid questions, but i dont know so i'll ask anyway) or can i just go to any upholstery place?

So i can just go to them and ask them to "repad the cushion" , mm i might as well get them to put on the seat covers for me!

Just stick some normal spunge to the missing area,
Then put a cardboard wrap on it, finally stick secure it all down with multiple layers of masking tape.
I have fixed many seats this way, costs only $5, did last me more than 3 years, still strong.
