FTO exhaust note changed... Very worried..

Soo.... chances are that by now (about 1.5 hours of driving after it happened) the ring will be in the sump... or gone totally (no much chance of it going through the exhaust>??? (or could it be blocking one of the ports which is making the exhaust sound funny?)
