Byron Bay - Great drive down.. althought its all highway its awesome or you can go the back way.. which is a hell of a drive but takes 2 hours longer haha.
Burumba Dam - Ok drive takes about 2 + hours taking it easy, once you get there views are great.. Lots of photo opportunities.
BBQ Ideas:
Wellington Point - great views good photo opportunities.
Cleveland Point - "as above"
Oyster Point - (Not a well known spot but its secluded and kinda of small but right on the water)
Wynnum Foreshore - Its ok lol
Manly Harbour - "as above" But different views.. (boats) looks cool if you get the right shot with your car

or an arvo cruise, and then a piss up (which will probably mean ppl will end up sleeping in their cars lol)
yes i know i've suggested booz at every single oppotunity lol.

Would suggest Mt Warning, but I'm not sure what its like out there..
The springbrook drive is nice, though theres lots of cops down there nowadays.. not that it would matter because we would all be going under the speed limit of course.. but yeah..
Still definately keen for a DIY Day ... Anyone ned to do a service on their car?

I'd be up for that... my mechanical knowledge needs increasing
Moving in next month or so... trying to find a house with a garage and a nice big front yard for parking cars..
Easier said then done though... want something northside near a train line if possible for well... as little as possible ~~~~

Sounds like a plan, I'm hardly an expert, but I can help people out with a lot of the basics ... I would suggest maybe one day could be spent on figuring out what needs to be done for peoples servicing & then they can have some time to get the together the stuff they need to get the job done, fluids, filters, whatever other parts.. & then meet up again to do the work ...

Righto... Well i know basic mechanical knowledge.
But i think we should have someone that realy knows what they're doing there...
Maybe if we made it for the first Sunday of every 2nd month or something like that... My place is out because of no room... Anyone got room for 5 cars or so?

Is there anyone who really knows what they're doing? I think any of the major jobs / problems would need to be taken to a mechanic for anyway... But this would save people a lot of money on the simple stuff, things that a mechanic would charge hundreds in labour for it would only be the cost of parts .. For me it usually works out to around $100-$150 depending what I need to do..
