1995 FTO GPX Race Car, MIVEC V6 Road Reg. $8,000

For sale is my FTO MIVEC race/rally car
This car was previously competing in the Production Race series when I bought it, I have made some modifications to bring it in line with RTA road registration requirments. The vehicle is currently unregisted but is road registrable under the competion vehicle category. i.e can be driven to and from competion events and used on the road in road race events.

The vehicle has competed in events such as the Dutton Rally (Road Event) and could be entered in events such as Targa Tasmania and Classic Adelaide, or great for club racing events.

The car is set up for curcuit racing with full roll cage, fire extinguisher, battery kill switched-internal and external, circuit racing suspension (very stiff) and comes with two sets of Dunlop Formula R racing slicks, approx 70% tread and a almost new set of road tyres. The slicks are all on rims as shown in the photos.

Sparco race seats and 5 point safety harnesses in both front seats.

The engine however does have a knocking noise in the top end, the engine still runs but the knocking is common to this model, I believe it is a straight forward fix but I dont have the time or money to pursue it. At worse a new engine would be a couple of grand.

Because of its racing past the air bags, traction control and ABS have been removed.

Haha! So this is the FTO that I posted pics of in the spotted section.
I've seen it in person - nice neat car, as stated.

I only had a brief look at it, but for the asking price, if you're interested then I definitely recommend you go and check it out!
