Removing sparkies

I tried to remove them on the weekend, they are screwed on tight. I have the tube thingy that came with the car, can't seem to turn it, any idea's??

Grind down the outside edge of the socket on a bench grinder.

I have the correct tool, I just can't unscrew the sparkies. Do they screw in the opposite direction??

Nope, screw anti-clockwise. Maybe use a bigger ratchet or a breaker bar on the end of the ratchet. The sparkies have a small spring type washer on them that can sometimes lock up.

you can also try running the car for a bit get some heat in to the mix may lossen up then
