A few odds and ends

Post by dstocks »

Tried to fit my woodgrain bits into my new FTO and unfortunately, the brown clashes violently with the blue seats. As a result, ive decided to sell the parts and go for something that better suits the new colour scheme. Note that the parts below have been dipped. What you see are NOT stickers. This process is the same as that used to produce woodgrain finish in new cars:

Would prefer to do a swap for the buyers stock parts and will throw in the time to personally change everything over as a part of the sale (I have done this a few times now). I originally paid over $700 to have it done and the parts are still in perfect condition. At this stage im hoping for around $450 for this item (which includes my time to help install it for you - you come to me). Willing to let one or 2 bits go (in the case of broken stereo surrounds for example) at an additional cost.

A couple of pictures of the parts installed below:

Also have a panasonic head deck for sale (Japanese) - CQ-VX707MS. This came in my new FTO and would need a bandwidth expander to pick up Australian stations (which I think are worth around $30 from Jaycar (correct me if im wrong). From what I have read this was quite an expensive unit a few years ago. Not sure what its worth now. Offers......

Last item is an Autotechnica wheel and boss (for FTO). This one was in one of the wrecks I bought. Is in excellend condition. At a guess this is worth maybe $150 (including the boss kit).

Oh and if these prices are unreasonable, please let me know. I really dont have any idea.

      hrmmm....

Im interested to see how this would look.

Cream seats and everything (dash pillars, etc) are soon to be recovered in cream leather...

Wood grain could give a nice look to it...

Only prob is im in QLD....

Will have more of a think about it and let you know.

Will be down in NSW in september maybe... Possibly in Sydney...
