Timing belt tensioner gave up the ghost on Saturday. Waiting to find out if I have bent any valves :cry:

    yes... there is that. Removed the timing belt cover to see where the oil leak was and the tensioner loosened (dont know how). Tried to start all afternoon. Then got it towed. Dont know whether have bent a value (but knowing my luck I have).

      My valves are intact :D .... :oops:

      It appears that the guy that last serviced the car in Japan failed to remove the tensioner pin. Buggered if I know why the belt didnt slip before now.....

      Got to say im a little relieved
