FTO Concepts

Post by Adriano »

hey guys..

having finished a short course on 3D modeling recently, i have started creating a model of an FTO...
i did this so i can start conceptualizing things for it without spending any money :) (if you can't afford it, CREATE it)
over the next weeks i will be updating this thread on new concepts i have worked on..

currently i'm working on a new body kit...
these are some first pass renders of the model (see below) so pardon the quality of it... as you can see i haven't got any materials yet as i'm concentrating on the modeling...

crits welcome!!

and please post your ideas as well, if you have anything you want conceptualised for your fto just post it on here and ill try and work on it as much as i can.... just remember i only do this on my spare time so bare with me..

here are the images

Looks very good! Can't wait till you add textures to it! I always wanted to build a model of an fto, but I never have time...

Maybe, when you are done, can you render some large sized pictures so we can make nice backgrounds out of your model?

You can even put an fto Australia sticker some where on the model :)

What program are you using? 3D Studio Max? Maya?

Keep up the excellent work!

Adriano you've got some real talent there buddy... I love those designs, would you be able to add some things like a scoop on the roof simular to the motorsport elise and maybe some more vents like in the front of the rear flairs (between the door and the rear wheel arch like on ferrari's) and maybe some small vents on the bonnet aswell on the sides... just some idea's

Would you mind if I email some of those designs to NewGel here in Canberra to get a ruff price to manufacture something like that cos I recently sent some other sketches to them and they said to come in and discuss it with the boss as [quote] "anything is possible as long as the funds are available"...

btw what program did you use to create them???

Great designs there as well mate. I really like what you've done with the front-end.

Wow 60mm per side!

I like those arches! But those rear arches will be slightly harder to fit eh?
Cos it flows into the doors as well! BUT I LIKE THEM! PERIOD!

yeah you're right, the widening on the rear starts from the door... so if it ever goes into production :?: you will need a bit that goes on the door as well, then blend it in....

I'm wanting to grab a hold of this 3d max software...

Any hints as to how I can get one apart from buying one?

Adriano?
