Hey my one of these broke about a month ago. I found one at a wreckers in Perth, and I'm lucky because if that certain person on that certain night hadn't decided to stay home, and have that certain drink and be a very certain level of tired and go out at a certain time and hit that one certain person as they ran a red light I just might still be without a car now. ;)
Mitsubishi Australia wont want anything to do with you, so you are on your own, unless you can find one better put that order in quick.

When mine broke the gear stick just slid freely from 3-4 and couldn't move to the sides. Scared the crap out of me I was in the MIVEC around a round about and BANG.
