Soldered my door speakers up properly after realising the reason the left one was making no sound was because the connection fell off... Should have just done it right the first time

other day pulled interior out check seat belts and ended up putting in some sound proofing in the rear quarters
didnt buy any just used what i had
egg shell foam that we were thowing out
fatmat sound deading
old pillow ( polyester filling )

layed a few layers of deading then threw in some foam at the bottem then packed full of poly fill then more deading sealing it up

while doing this i went for a drive with no back seats or pannals and its amazing how much sound comes threw the car from the road ( befor i put in sound proofing )

Good work bro.

Okay I did the following,

- Swapped rear lights over on black FTO to yangs spare set
- Swapped number plates over on Black FTO from old front bar.
- Went to nut and bolt factory to buy 2 bolts for the fog lights + put in
- Went to jaycar & bought new indicator bulb + put in.

Once again, not much but it involved me getting on my arse so hoorrayy..

Thats really good considering the amount of work involved in the roof.

I got a quote from Joe & Ricks to adjust my tappets which was $330.00 correct me if im wrong but that seemed a little steep?

I looked through a diy guide and I dont think im confident enough at this stage, if I did not have to rely on the car for daily transport id give it a go.
I took the fto to three local mechanics and their first question was what sort of cars that? not a good start  two then turned their noses up at it and the third said I would have to get him a manual.
Maybe if I would of owned a thirty year old commadore or a tractor I would of been in luck. 8O

There price is only $30 more than normal.
When it comes down to it, if you want the job done right you pay to get it done.
