in the process of fixing fog lights, thought it was a plug so sprayed elec cleaner over the but found out later that it was the switch in the dash, turns out when they burn out the put a hole in the side where the voltage passes through which happens to have a little ball bearing that sits in a spring that acts as a housing and when the switch is pressed the ball activates a see-sawing peice of brass that connects the 2 main terminals for your fogs and when it shorts it puts a hole next to the ball bearing so it wont sit in the right place.

to save myself $60 and out of curiosity im gonna place araldite in the burnt out hole and place the switch on a flat surface and hopefully the ball bearing will sit in place and the stock switch will work lol* takes a deep breath* lol if u hadnt looked at the insides of this switch you'd think i was drunk, high and 15 years old lol
