stepper motor

okay so this stepper motor everyone gets off ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MITSUBISHI-2L-2- ... 45ea6a8fc7) is the wrong stepper motor? when i bought one they gave me a 4 cylinder one. which model type is the 1995 FTO GR version stepper motor called or where can i find it?? thanks

Your GR has a 4G93 motor.

The GPX & GPvR have the 6A12, which that stepper motor is for.

Nope Gs is 4g93

GR,GPX,GPVR is 6a12

If you have a GR it should have a 6A12 engine. So the stepper motor in that eBay link you posted should be the correct one.

so when i buy the stepper motor again i should of ask him the first time 2 give me the stepper motor for the car engine 6A12 correct? thanks for your help guys

The impression I get from the eBay listing is that it should suit all the engines listed in the table (including the 6A12) and not just the 4 cylinder ones.

How do you know the one he sent you isn't the correct one?

Because on the ebay listing it says that this stepper only suites 4cyl 4g63 galants and 4g54 magnas. :lol:

Look at the table, third row. It says it suits Mitsubishi Galant HJ 12/92-11/94, 6 Cyl, 2.0L , 6A12.

when i bought the stepper motor i just assume it was right so just clicked buy

Well it's the same one I have in my car for the last year almost :?
