Got a few sets. Both for $30 + postage. Just not sure how to determine condition. I guess I check for play in the caliper shafts.

Thanks for the speedy reply dstocks I am very interested in a pair if you could check the play of the caliper piston would be great. My LH side one has rusted inside the piston housing!!!! Dont know how this has happened but I need to get the car back on the road asap.

Brake fluid is hydroscopic, sucks in water, water causes rust. Hence why you should change brake fluid every couple of years. One of the fluids that is always overlooked when maintaining a car.Jeno wrote:My LH side one has rusted inside the piston housing!!!! That is fine Dstocks, please let me know how they go.
Thanks for the advise Shane definitely something to keep in mind. (Especially living in the place were it always rains - South East Queensland) What has got me annoyed is that both of these calipers had a refurb done 14 months ago and the donkeys who have done them have failed to notice rusting. I find it hard to believe that the damage I have seen today could be caused in the space of 12 months in a car that is garaged at work and home.
