Did a sneaky one the other day and signed over the Mazda to Kaylah without her even knowing ;)

Cleaned it just then, gave it a wash and as I was driving it to dry it off it started raining :( She probably wont notice it but eh!

Also got a shiny new key cut and engraved for it. Now it just needs a bow around it and its ready to be handed over!

Im quite proud of myself 8)

Successful handover of the car! :cheeky:

Didnt get a proper photo with the bow as it had crappy lighting when I put it on. Was just a red bow around the base of the antennae. I wanted to put a bow around the whole thing like a present but didnt get around to buying one that big.

@Phil - It actually occurred to me today that you couldve done it + a little plate to put on the passenger side dash or something saying Happy 18th and such

All in all, everyone's happy!

I wired up my new folding mirrors to fold in when locked and fold out when unlocked.

Is the wiring work tricky? (along with auto rolling up the mirrors?)

The auto folding mirrors aren't hard to wire up, you just need a couple of relays wired up to send a 12v unlock and lock signal from the central locking to the mirror wires. I also installed a switch to disable the auto folding when I don't want them to fold in.

When I re-wire my alarm (maybe) I want to do that to my mirrors :)
I already have the auto windows, so maybe...

Changed fuel filter
Changed oil and oil filter
Changed gearbox oil
Put on the DBA Xdrilled rotors and EBC Redstuff pads.
Picked up the same wing which Aza has :)

Sahin did most (all) of the work while I took care of Health and Safety management, un-hooking and hooking up batteries, precise oil filling without any sort of funnel, stealing Sahin's UAS pipe (unsuccessful :( ) :)

Now it drives smooth, gear shifts smooth, brakes hard :)

Nope lol.

I'll get it in January. I mainly wanted it out cos it was filled with water as well as the rest of the system and it would just be sittin there building up rust etc.

Is this action going to progress any further from just looking?

Its not too expensive.
