Well I need a thermostat (housing, thermostat, seal) for the misses Vectra....

Bursons = $150

Vectra World UK via eBay = $35 delivered

:cheers: Hooray for online overseas shopping, eBay and internet

P.S. When I get it I will have to remove the bloody intake manifold off again as the thermostat is in the engine valley :roll:
Should have asked me I could have got you one for $50.00.

Took the FTO into the shop to put the bushings, struts, strings in. Turns out my left tie rod end is f*cked, can definitely feel it in the steering. Not sure if they just fitted it and no wheel alignment was done. They went over what they done, and also insisted I should get a set of new bushing for two different places in the rear.

New Bendix rear brake shoes fitted up, and found the source of all the weird noises from the drums.

Not only have I snapped the spring at the base of the shoes, I have also managed to wear the original drum shoes down to probably 1/4mm thickness 8O :mrgreen:
I'll have an FTO one day... i swear!

until then:
1. 2001 Merc-Benz A160 (porta-loo on wheels)
2. 2007 Peugeot 307 TDi (more fun than you'd expect)
3. 2009 Mitsubishi Triton Di-D (a monster in its own right)
4. 1992 Nissan NX Coupe (club car and project car)
5. 1996 Holden SB Barina - "The Nugget"
6. 1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee Sport - The Budget Build
7. 2010 Toyota Landcruiser 76 Series - V8 Goodness... - Build coming soon.
8. 1990 Audi 90 manual - The delightfully dignified daily driver

FTO is now in for rust repairs and alignment of front bar. $450 for the front bar (missing tab, sagging) engine bay rust in two spots, kick plate rust and boot sill rust all to be done.
