Bens second gpx
Hi guys. Well been awhile since I have posted. Hope all your FTO'S r still running strong lol. Anyway took awhile but I'm finely in the process of getting my new fto on the road. no pics as of yet needs a clean and is garaged. Soon though.
So had a roady done and it had a bit more than I thought anyway here's what's left and what I have done.
All completed.
Battery clamp.
Gear shifter surround broken./ replaced the broken/missing piece with a cut out of boot lining.(hoping it will pass)
Front Parker lenses loose.
Right outer Parker not working./ globe
Eye level brake light not working./globe
Left number plate light dull./ globe
Polish headlights
Left rear seat belt twisted
Front left seatbelt twisted
Front left kik panel/replaced with boot lining cut out.
Boot lock install
Wire through firewall hanging near exhaust
Front bumper to be secured.
Above All done but still to go I have-
Horn not working- i have no idea on this one,, guessing its to do with the aftermarket steering wheel.
Front tyres scrubbing on full lock-17s with 45s I'm hoping to just put a lower profile tyre on there.
Both rear tyres bald-replace
Rear muffler-replace
Windscreen+wiper blades- replace
Left front panel damage- small piece on the inside of bonnet. Should be easy fix.
Left inner driveshaft boot-replace
All sway bar links front and rear-replace
Front and rear engine mounts-replace
Steering rack leaking-going to try a bottle of Lucas rack and pinion stop leak
Water pump- replace
Power steering belt cracked-replace
Oil leak at timing cover area- timing belt replace
So yea still got a lot too go but getting there slowly. I'm dreading the idea of doing this timing belt kit but ill give it a go. Can't be that hard. Plus after buying all the parts I need I won't be affording no mechanic bills.
Well glad to be bac guys ill get pics up ASAP.
