Other option is

Brushed on as opposed to spray on

Ahaha dude that's the one I showed you! G2 is really good quality apparently..
Anyway, I had a look through their FB page for pics but wasn't 100% on the shade...brilliant finish but I reckon this Dupli-color will match the FTO sticker a bit closer. Not actual caliper paint but still hi-temp at least.
Cheaper too...could buy 2 cans haha.

Re: DIY day yo.
As kiz said brush much better results lasts longer but takes longer to do and needs to cure correctly. Done my rears almost eight years ago and now starting to flake..... leaves nice gloss too. Fronts have been hpc coated even better result

Haha I really don't remember, but yea G2 would be the go. My calipers just need a bloody good clean and a touch up job
And the paint colour usually looks different in person than in the pics of computers I always find

Re: DIY day yo.
It's a lesser of two evils, G2 looks amazing and glossy, but it's the wrong shade.
Turns out they make the perfect Kawasaki green, they just don't sell it.
So here's what we're left with, G2 on the left, Dupli-color on the right, and a slightly overexposed photo of what I'm trying to match it to haha.

Re: DIY day yo.
August 10th works perfectly fine for me. Might have some new calipers by then so I'll be wanting to get them on the new rotors
I'll also be attempting to tint my taillights, providing I decide which tint I want by then!

That's alright, Tim showed me . Although would like more practice before I did it on my car, maybe your car could be my test victim Jack?okamitengu wrote:you better look up bleeding the brakes then, cos im not taking any responsibility for that (:

Will be going from GR to GP Version-R calipers. Just let me know what stuff I'll need and I'll ensure I have it.

Re: DIY day yo.
I'm well aware of that, but at least they fit the goddamn rotors I bought, unlike the lumps of sh*t that are currently on my car!Sahin wrote:They are just 2 pot calipers lol just because they are from a GP Vr doesnt mean they are special lol
