Marks silver gpx
Hey guys! finally decided to stop being lazy and make a thread for my fto I bought a few days ago. I have a lot of plans with the car and probably will need some advice from you experts as I go
So here are a few pictures of the car!

Bloody hell, that light came up well. Wouldnt have thought youd have had a chance of getting that clear. How does it run.Certainly looked pretty clean when we looked at it the other day. And have you done anything on the inside yet?

Re: Marks silver gpx
yea it looked pretty hopeless for a while there haha, I must have taken a huge layer off it to get it clean :p
I only drove it for 20 or so minutes to get it home but it ran very nicely, no problems that I can see with it so far.
I've been tidying and cleaning the inside like a mad man to get it in good shape! removed all the rubbish and vacumed up all the crap. The smell is also nearly all gone too. ive been leaving some containers of vinegar in it over night to soak it up, seems to work pretty well. anyone have some good ways to get bad smells out?
And thanks again dstocks! really appreciate you coming out to have a look

Re: Marks silver gpx
No probs.
BTW, just tried to call you a minute ago and no answer on the mobile. When are you planning to register the car? Had a look at the PS silver guard in the shed and looks good. Can probably bring down Monday if that helps.
Youve done well to get that for $1500. Particularly given its a manual

Not sure when i'll register it yet. money is the biggest issue for me as a uni student. hopefully it will be on the road in time for the bonfire though
and yea 1500 for a manual is great, I was comparing some other cars and majority for sale or autos, so im very happy

Re: Marks silver gpx
Ok so got a replacement fender thanks to dstocks!
set about the job of taking off the bumper and the damaged fender this morning, I think half the bolts and screws on my car were either rusted, broken and impossible to remove or simply missing altogether so after a few hours of swearing at these said bolts I finally managed to get the old one off and the replacement on!
I couldnt get it to sit perfectly no matter what I tried but for the time being it will have to do, plus Its probably worse in my head then what it really is, but i'd apreciate any feedback on how bad you think they are or how noticeable it is

Re: Marks silver gpx
People have tended to avoid Ultra racing because of the build quality. (Bennoz had one of their bars crack). Have a look in the for sale section, I think a couple of members have put up reasonably priced Version R stock or Cusco bars.

Re: Marks silver gpx
Nup, pretty much identical. Wouldnt be surprised actually if the version R ones are rebadged cusco's with different colour annodised ends. Design though is exactly the same.
