Forum Update
Hey kids, I've just updated the forum software.
It's a bit of a jump from v3.0.11 PL1 to v3.2.1. Much of it was a manual update, so there may be a few things missing, just let me know if there are. I've kept a backup of the old site on the server.
I dragged all the images across, so they should still work. Also kept the folder structure names the same, so links will still work.
If anyone fancies themselves as a phpbb template designer, let me know. Even if you're handy with photoshop, I want to 'Mitsubishi FTO' the template up, such as the header & post icons.
In the mean time, I'm going to test the new authentication stuff to see if I can open the registration doors without dodgy Russians pouring in again.

Re: Forum Update
FYI, the search function will be a little useless at the moment, the search index is rebuilding... which on a board this size can take hours.

Re: Forum Update
Don't worry, nobody uses it anyway

Looks alright though (asides from needing the FTO-theme-ness). It's useful that the actual sub-board shows up now.

Here's the banner logo. Anyone fancy having a crack at changing "My Invision" to the club logo?

Bit big Beej ![laughing :lol:](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Maybe ditch the address under it & just thicken up the logo?
I'll try change the name font over to Sevil alias esra.

Fkn. Yeah I wondered about the whole box being longer than space seemed to permit

Re: Forum Update
And next question, does anyone still use Tapatalk? Site seems to have built in mobility.
Which would be super, cause Tapatalk can gargle a solid mouthful of my dick jam

Re: Forum Update
Couldn't really thicken the lines up because it becomes all fragmented pixels once it gets that small (or I am a noob)

Re: Forum Update
That's because you're using photoshop and not illustrator beej. Need those vectors to be able to scale. ![laughing :lol:](./images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)
Try these.
Can't go any thicker on the outline or the lights at the front get mushed together.
Second one might get cut off but give it a try.

Re: Forum Update
Both work. Could even go slightly bigger.
Lemmie see if I can change this banner font first.

Re: Forum Update
Got the font, that was a pain in the ass lol. Had to find it, upload it & define it.
Code: Select all
@font-face {
font-family: Sevil_Lite;
src: url(http://www.ftoaustralia.com/v3/styles/MyInvision/theme/Sevil_Lite.ttf);
}
.site-description h1 {
font-family: Sevil_Lite;
font-weight: bold;
font-size: 2.5em
margin-right: 0;
color: red;
}
