The mighty Mini
Thought you folks might like some of these...
As you may know, my other passion besides FTO's is Minis.
This is one my old man & I have painstakingly restored over the last 8 years... Its original in every detail - down to the hubcaps. It just came out of the shop - some minor mechnical adjustments were made - and its absolutely filthy but its just about finished! Goes hard too! We haven't driven it for so long, we sort of 'forgot' about the big cam we put in it Some good shots, especially the old vs new shot!

That is so cool!
Looks just like the one my parents had when I was younger, except their one was white with a black roof and had mags. Absolutely awesome car - probably still the most fun car I've ever driven...
Until some scumbag stole it and set fire to it

Re: The mighty Mini
Apologies to dig up such an old thread, but now that the last project is finished (refurbing the boat) I've just started back on my old mini!
Finally got hold of some parts that I needed to finish up the diff, and considering that's all the engine is waiting for to be completed, this project is back on.
Getting the body delivered in the next week or 2. In the mean time, enjoy some of the old & new pics!

Re: The mighty Mini
Wife showed me the pics on her FB.
Love the car! Looks great.
Makes me want to dig out my VW Bug from storage and fix it up. (again)
