anyone painted fibreglass before?

not exactly FTO help but my friend wants me to paint his new front bar.. and once i get a kit id probably want to paint it myself too.. thing is i've never painted fibreglass before, do i need a special primer and is there anything i need to watch out for.. or i jus sand it smooth use high fill primer and coat it?

I always get my spreys done by some who knows what they are doing..

i work in a factory doing 2pac wetspray on all kinds of industrial sh*t, but ive never painted fibreglass..

nah hobbsie give it a go the worst that can happen is u have to sand it back and re spray. I dont much about painting it but either do a google search u should find heaps of info or go into a boat building place and just ask them some questions i have found ppl to be pretty helpful like that
