Well, actually i do need to give it a good run tonight...

Wanna come for a spin Simon??? just SMS me your address and i'll pop round about 7:30-8pm..

Yeh i feel a lot safer with the front bar on now...

Hopefully getting a mod plater to plate the car tomorow... so that will just leave the little things like my bonnet and tail lights... which i plan to fix very shortly...

Tail lights will be done this week and bonnet next week...

and then she'll be 100% legal... WOOT!!!

and as far as engine bay pics.....

Cost $150 for the two codes including the guy doing it at my work!! woo...

Got a Dintman coming to fix the dints in it tomorow.. only costing me a carton... for about 5-6 dints...

Righto... My tuner spent all weekend fixing the problems from the last 5 dodgy mechanics..

Spacers were missing, bolts weren't tight... etc....

Anywho, there's still a problem with the wastegate.. it needs a new diaphram..

So at the moment we're only getting around 9psi out of it... which gave us about 180hp atw..

Yeh... but that was with a 11:1 cr MIVEC engine...

Not a 8:1 CR NON-MIVEC...

The engine is most efficient around 20psi... so under 10psi isnt too good for power...

it does sound a lot better though

rightio... After taking 2 weeks to reco the Wastegate and getting it to fit, Its finally done...

It can hold 30psi no worries...

So now its up to the turbo to see how it goes...

Picking it up this arvo and dropping it off for the tune... which will be done tomorow...

Keep you all posted

Hows it going with the new internals Sam?

And how much do you reckon the standard crank will stand up to?
