i did not attend the 1st,but have made every year since.
and I think if you check the first was in 2007! my first was 2008.
1st one Gavin and I drove up Saturday then drove back to Melbourne on the Sunday. 8O
that was a mad bit of a drive. was knackered for days after.

Only missed one as well due to work.
And lol looking back at the pics from the first weekend.
That was the only event that we set up the tents down the Bottom of the hill. Next morning all tents where white and grey from all the ash 8O .

Tarkus knows we're coming, meeting the SA lot tomorrow morning in Vic and we're not camping, got a room booked at Lynchs.
Well that's if Rowans car is ok, it's back in for roadworthy today, I guess if it fails we could come in my wreck.

Yeah, I only missed 1 as well ...

I even attended the one when the Mrs was overseas planning our wedding ... But I ditched that to join the bonfire...

Well at this point I will be arriving at around lunchtime Saturday.

My Tractor died a couple of days ago. Upshot of this is that I havent been able to doasmuchto the road as I wouldhave liked. Take it slow down the dirt. Corrugations on the top half and a few potholes on the bottom half. Stay left for a few hundred metres after you cross the causeway and you should miss the bad ones. If I get a chance,I will try and take the ute down with dirt.

Other than that,have a safe trip.
