Not today but at bonfire I replaced center console, followed by Stereo surround, with the help of Phil(taffy), took out and re-wired my stereo headdeck.
Today I replaced those little vent looking things near the tweeters with the stock grey one's I got off Dwayne, instead of the ugly painted ones that J had in :P  .
Got quotes for my roof to be cut out and fixed(rust problems).

And finally, drove back to brisbane from sydney. :).

I've got the family boat in our driveway at the moment. Having to rewire the entire thing :x

Lets hope it doesn't burn to the waterline next time I take it out

haha, yeah that would not be good. At least they aren't as complicated as cars, well some of them that is.

Installed my new coilovers bc gold racing series. All I can so omg what a better handling car to drive and hehe how fast I can go around corners. The car feels so much stiffer now and feels like it wants to go fast and sits great

oh yeah for the topic's sake, reconnected my breather hose to the uas intake as i forgot to when i shortened the bit to the throttle body, then put the backseats on with the car still half stripped from the roof rust glue removal

Put in my new ebay chrome "Mitsubishi" ciggie lighter...

And did more wiring on the boat.

installed my c's short shifter... not too hard to do but definitely not easy the first time.

The new feeling, it feels like i need to exert a bit more effort to shift, maybe it still has to wear-in.

Overall, gear changing feels a lot firmer now

Did you grease up the pivot points?

I would think that would be normal eg shorter shift = less leverage. i am I wrong?

you need to put new grease on it, even if it's more than needed as it won't hert it.

i checked the pivot points before installing and it looked like it was already pregreased, what type of grease do i need then ?

Hmm tried to use the FTO to jump start the Evo... As soon as the cable touched the positive terminal it would spark..

So pulled the cables off, left the battery disconnected and tried to jump off it.. No good....

Then took battery out to try to use it alone to start the Evo.. But then didn't have the size to disconnect the Evo battery.. Grrr..

So connected the battery back to the FTO.. Then went to see if it sparked again.. Didn't, so all good.... Connected up to the Evo.... And just wouldn''t kick over.... So gave up..

Adjusted the MIVEC controller to 6cyl again.. And closed up shop.. Will try to jump with a booster pack to see how I go... Battery ain't that old, but looks like it is only holding 7 volts at the moment...

Can't afford a new battery.. Got too many expenses for the next 5 months.. And it is a huge battery.. Marine grade.. So an easy couple of hundred...

Didn't shut my boot properly last weekend so battery is dead. Looked in to a jump start box like Dwaynes. Kmart have a $50 ~400amp, a $70 900amp and a $90 900amp with compressor and sh*t. I think the $70 one should do, what do you think?

i think i only paid $40 for my 900amp one from Supercheap..

rock_it - check up on google & follow one of the guides for jump starting the car, could be that you're connecting something up wrong at one of the steps? if it still has issues let us know

should be like;
+ lead to + terminal on dead EVO
+ lead to + Terminal on live FTO
- Lead to - Terminal on live FTO
- lead to Engine block / bar metal chassis on dead EVO

if it's sparking on attaching positive leads it might mean you've got the order wrong.. should only spark when connecting the last negative lead .. just be quick & get a solid connection & you should be fine
