Ok cool, there is normally a group of members meet up and drive down together for the event.
There would be a thread set up about it closer to the date in the NSW area.

top right of the forums just under the red car it has a few options to make our lives easier - click on the "view new posts" and it will show up all new posts from the entire forum that you havent read yet within the last few days - very handy tool. I used to manually go through as well until it was pointed out to me

Whenever there's a new post, the section it's posted in is highlited in red. I prefer going to each section that's got a new post rather than using the view unread or view new posts.
