Error codes 41, 42 & 43 are related to the gearbox in this case, or it wouldn't go into safety mode. They relate to incorrect gear ratios which means you input speed sensor and your output speed sensor are not matching up. One of them is going tits up so you need to swap them with someone elses so you can see which one it is.

Either that or give them a good clean and that might help a bit.

without being with the car all i can say is check every cable, but if it shakes like that id say o2 or tourque sensor is smoked and it doesnt know your revs and is starving your engine of fuel (hence the shudder) then going "oh sh*t ive got a problem" and going into limp mode

anyone else?
Im with bennoz, trust me stuffed trannies do weird things to your car. Your oil was black? When was the last change? How long ago did you replace the oil? Is it back again??? I know it wont be the damn oil but the colour of the oil would tell you where you stand!

Bet ya after a few thou your oil will be black again.

If could be your convertor screwing up, and probably why its only happening after a while of driving because the convertor is heating up the oil too much causing the auto to overheat, thats prob why its going into limp mode.

Happened to me, ripped the coverter to streads, lost all drive after a few weeks. Happened to Bennoz i think right after it happened to me.

What colour is your tranny fluid?? Black again??

Vibration more under load? More in say 3rd gear??

How is the car in reverse? Shudders a fair bit?

Yes i think its going black again.... lol not sure i don't drive it..

hmmm don't really know about 3rd gear...

well after driving around for a fair bit the car revs will drop down to like 300 in 1st (when stopped) ... but if i put it in neutral the revs go back up to normal... but when i try drive again... the car pretty much just revs its tits off and won't do anything to the speed...

convertor is screwed. Gearbox is overheating, thats why the oil is black again.

That low idle speed after a while of driving could be your stepper. Coils faulty when engine is hot.

Yep.

Either way, your gearbox has to come out. Head to a tranny specialist.
