i just put a bigggg muffler in for my 5zigen to quiet it down....and u are doing the opposite..

Why not just take out your resontator? It'll make it heaps louder..

Yeh i thought about that and also just running a straight pipe. I imagine the sound would be veyr similar to having no muffler at all. I was doing that a few weeks back and my ears were bleeding every time I drove. Plus the sound is bit odd, very raspy. And if I have no resonator then I still dont achieve the cannon.

hey bushido was your exhaust the same as mine mate?stianless steel and did it look like this??mine however has 2.75 inch mandrel bent piping to the rear axel so completely bolt on and made for the FTO in japan. o hand if your intrested joe joe id be happy to sell it for roughly a 1/3 of 1500

If it's the same, I like the look on bushido's car and I want to keep the dual pipe setup.

How old is yours?

as you can see ffrom the pics it is the dual pipe setup full stianless stel fujitsubo.To my knowledge the only diffrence between mine and stevs (bushido) is the piping to the rear axel is 2.75inch mandrel bent.

Not sure how long its been on the car...its a 95 gpx and the owner imported the car in 1998 and its been the same owner since i boguht it and he hadnt touched the exhaust at all. And i know 100% that this isnt the stock system becuse all my piping is 2.75inch and it had a decat with stock cat cover and it was all madrel bent.So defnitely done in Japan since the piping from the muffler was 2.75inch.

My car's booked to have the extractor and High Flow CAT installed next week.

If only you're in Sydney.

looks rell similar to the one i had lthough mine was 2.5 in. fantastic exhaust performnce wise. a real sleeper. Just didnt have the loudness i wanted.

hmmm they wouldnt of done it in japan for no reason mate and by the looks of things it is like bushidos system id be willing to do 500 including postage (if potage isnt more that a 100) and in terms of the piping you can always bolt it on at the rear axel to 2.5inch...
oh and if its booked in for next week matei m pretty sure i could have it on a courier by friday?
